The S / Y Seven the new success of Perini Navi

Perini Navi has become one of the first companies in the world in the construction of sailing boats and engines because it has managed to bring to fruition over time the many original inventions in the field of engineer and inventor Fabio Perini, founder of the company who is a big fan of boating.

His entrepreneurial activity begins in the paper industry, through a company that develops innovative machinery in the field of paper processing.

At the age of 17, he had already patented his first device for the automation of some processes related to the production of paper. At the age of 20, he patented a machine for the automatic cutting of paper, followed by a long series of technological innovations that quickly improved all the processes involved in the transformation of paper. All experience that then has been able to transfer wisely in the nautical world.

In fact, starting from the devices that regulate the operation of paper machines, he invented new patents this time in the development of navigation systems such as the unfolding and automatic rewinding of the entire sail plan that allows the management of large boats (over 40 meters) with a reduced crew. Therefore the ingenuity, creativity and innovation of its founder are always present in the Company’s boats.

Always keeping these principles in mind, on 5 August 2017, the Perni Navi launched a new success with the S / Y Seven, a 60-meter two-masted aluminum sailing yacht more briefly identified as ketch. This ketch is the 62 units of the Perini fleet and the third specimen, after Seahawk and Perseus 3, of the successful 60-meter series that is not the last because Perini Navi has already announced the sale of another 60-meter S / Y .

The S / Y Seven was designed and built by Perini Navi in collaboration with the New Zealand yacht designer Ron Holland while the interiors were designed by the Italian Dante O. It has been awarded for the best lighting at the Boat International Design and Innovation Awards, where they reward not only the architecture and the naval style, but also the new solutions in terms of design, technological innovation and engineering. The awarding of the awards took place on January 20, 2018 in Kitzbuhel, Austria, with a jury composed of great experts in the sector from different continents.

In this regard, the owner says: With this new boat we will be able to navigate all together, a passion that unites us and brings us together. I love Perini Navi boats because they allow us to experience direct contact with nature, with the magic of the sea, indescribable sensations like the rustle of the wind, the lapping of the waves, without ever giving up all the most modern comforts “. He then added the shipowner: “When you are on board a Perini Navi, you can live the art made in Italy. Perini Navi Seven is the result of a project characterized by the artistic, creative and aesthetic spirit that uniquely distinguishes Italian excellence in the world.
