Iniziamo da Amalfi la leggenda narra che Ercole fonda Amalfi sulla tomba della sua amata che si chiamava Amalfi che aveva gli occhi dello stesso colore del mare. Questa è leggenda la storia vera dice che Amalfi ha origine antiche risale ai tempi dei romani in lotta con i barbari. Le attività marittime sono state da sempre le principali fonti economiche. Adesso Amalfi è la cittadina più grande posta al centro della Costiera Amalfitana dichiarata “Patrimonio dell’Umanità in Italia” dall’UNESCO.

Catturaamalficosta La parte più suggestiva della cittadina costeggia il mare, poi si sale e si arriva al centro storico con numerose botteghe con souvenir e prodotti tipici di cui ricordiamo le delizie al limone prodotte con i limoni delle terrazze di Amalfi. Poi proseguendo si arriva fino al Duomo di Amalfi, dove la visita è quasi d’obbligo.

Il primo paese della Costiera Amalfitana provenendo dal nord è Positano luogo da un panorama unico con alta affluenza frequentato anche da attori, registi e Vip che si ritrovano tutti in questo posto meraviglioso.

Continuando incontriamo Furore. Diciamo subito che Furore è fra i Borghi più belli d’Italia. Vista dall’alto del ponte stradale vi farà incantare. In questo villaggio di pescatori  si consumò la storia d’amore fra Anna Magnani e Roberto Rossellini La caratteristica di Furore è che la spiaggetta stretta e profonda è sempre fresca perché il sole la illumina solo nel primo pomeriggio. Totani e patate è il piatto tipico di Furore.

Subito dopo Amalfi troviamo  il comune di Atrani che  si sviluppa su un solo kmq e conserva la tipica architettura del medioevo.
La graziosa spiaggetta da cui ancora oggi partono le barche dei pescatori per il loro duro lavoro e una ripida parete rocciosa stringono l’abitato dandogli il classico aspetto da presepe enfatizzato durante le festività natalizie da una illuminazione pubblica composta da luci multicolori.

MINORIminori_sera_Minori, centro ricco di storia, tradizioni e suggestioni paesaggistiche.Città del Gusto ma, soprattutto, città di mare, Minori è accoccolata ai piedi dei monti Lattari. La spiaggia è più corta rispetto a quella di Maiori, solo 250 metri, la spiaggia di Minori ha tratti liberi e tre stabilimenti con lettini e ombrelloni. La sua esposizione a sud la rende ottima per un lungo bagno di sole.

Non si conosce con certezza l’identità dei fondatori del comune di Maiori. Le prime tracce evidenti di insediamenti stabili risalgono al periodo dell’antica Roma a cui si deve il nome originario di Reghinna Major dato al corso d’acqua che sfocia nell’insenatura dell’odierna Maiori in contrapposizione al Reghinna Minor dato al più piccolo corso d’acqua che sfocia nella vicina insenatura di Minori.Catturasipaggia maiori Maiori ha  la spiaggia più lunga, e una delle poche sabbiose, della Costiera Amalfitana. Alle due estremità, i tratti liberi. Gran parte dell’arenile, tuttavia, è occupato dagli stabilimenti balneari. È fra le preferite dalle famiglie con bambini.

Le casette a strapiombo sul mare. Una chiesa e una cupola maiolicata. A Cetara potete assaggiare la colatura di alici e il tonno migliore della Costiera Amalfitana. Se amate la comodità e non volete abbandonare il piccolo borgo, scegliete la spiaggia della Marina. Acque azzurre e sole a volontà per tutto il pomeriggio.

Vietri sul Mare è il primo comune della Costiera Amalfitana che si incontra proveniendo da Salerno da cui dista soli tre chilometri, ultimo provenendo dal nord.Dal mare spuntano i Due Fratelli, i piccoli faraglioni di Vietri sul Mare.Nelle stradine di Vietri, è possibile fare  shopping  dove è quasi un rito comprare le ceramiche artistiche decorate dai maestri artigiani.
