Immaculate and Jubilee

The tour buses should be parked outside the historic center and the pilgrims should continue their journeys by public transport in particular the subway of Rome. If you come to Rome with trains of the State Railways, from Termini to get to St. Peter’s Basilica, Vatican City pick up the Metro Line A direction Battistini, get off at Ottaviano-Vatican Museum and continue for 500 meters to St. Peter (10 minute walk).

First and second route “Way Papale”
It is the route taken for centuries by the Popes, especially on the occasion of their election. The route goes from St. John Lateran to the Basilica of St. Peter and vice versa, through the Colosseum. It has two variants, one that goes from Via dei Banchi Nuovi (Church of Santa Maria in Vallicella) and the other for the Via dei Coronari (Church S. Salvatore in Lauro).

Third itinerary: “Way of the Pilgrim”
It is the traditional route of the pilgrims from St. John to St. Peter and vicersa, through Via di San Paolo alla Regola and Church of the Holy Trinity of the Pilgrims.

Fourth itinerary: “Marian Way”
It is the path that leads from the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore Basilica of St. Peter and vice versa, through, among other things for Urban Way, Via dei Fori Imperiali and the Mamertine Prison.
